Every family is different. Some need companionship and regular check-ins for aging parents. Others need errands taken care of, or help coordinating everyday responsibilities. We’ll talk through what would actually help.

About us

Born from personal experience. Inspired by compassion.

Senior & Family Concierge Services began when distance and a full schedule made it impossible to be in the room. Shortly after moving to another state, our founder faced an unexpected family crisis. Three close family members, including a 95-year-old parent, became seriously ill within a short time.

Demanding academic commitments required full attendance, so travel and the personal help those loved ones needed were both out of reach. It was a hard stretch, full of worry and the wish to be there.

Who can you depend on when someone you love needs help, but you cannot be there?

What was missing was a trustworthy person who could check on them, keep them company, run an errand, help with an appointment, coordinate the ordinary details, and send a plain update. That kind of dependable support was not easy to find.

Adult children often live far from aging parents. Working people balance a job and a household. Caregivers get worn down. Families with children have schedules that collide. Sometimes loved ones live nearby, and an extra hand still changes the week.

From that came a simple aim: a compassionate concierge service for the gap between caring about someone and being able to stand in their kitchen. The story started with aging parents. The same practical help is here for individuals and families at other stages of life.

The visits we offer are non-medical. Company, errands, and help arranging appointments. We don’t provide rides, personal care, or medical help. The person receiving the help agrees to it.

More than a service. A helping hand you can depend on.

Who we serve

Support for every stage of life

Because everyone needs a helping hand sometimes. The help itself stays the same: company, errands, and scheduling. Not rides, not personal care, and not medical care.

Independent older adults

Companionship, errands, and help arranging appointments, for someone who wants to stay at home. We don’t provide the ride.

Adult children

When you live far away, or the week is already full, a local person can check in, run the errand, and tell you plainly what they saw.

Busy professionals

Errands and scheduling when work has taken the day. Practical help, not another thing to manage.

Working parents and families

Appointments and errands stacked on the same day. We can take the errand or the scheduling. We don’t provide childcare or rides.

Family caregivers

When you are the one everyone calls, another trustworthy person can take a check-in or an errand. The work stays non-medical.

Occasional assistance

A family gathering, a crowded month, or one task that has been waiting. A single visit or a single errand, when we have the time.

Whatever your stage of life, we can talk about how to make the week easier.

What we help with

Everyday, non-medical help. For an older adult who wants to stay at home, or for a household that needs one dependable extra hand.

Appointment help

Help booking appointments and finding local providers. Your loved one makes the decisions. We don’t provide the ride.

We don’t provide medical care, medication help, or personal care such as bathing. If your family needs that, we’re happy to point you to licensed providers.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    We meet at home

A relaxed first conversation with your loved one. We learn their routines, agree on who gets updates, write down how we get in, and decide together what happens if the door isn’t answered.

  2. Step 2

    Regular visits on your schedule

A screened concierge comes by in an agreed daytime window. Conversation, a look at the calendar and mail, and any small jobs you’ve arranged.

  3. Step 3

    You get a note afterward

A short, factual message the same day. What we did, what we noticed, and anything you may want to follow up on.

You’ll know how the visit went.

After each visit, the family members your loved one has approved get a short note. It’s written plainly and sticks to facts.

Hi Sarah, just finished the visit with Margaret. She answered right away. We had tea on the patio, added Thursday’s eye appointment to her calendar, and brought in two packages. Nothing that needs follow-up today.
